A clearer, more efficient glass combination for your replacement window

So we know that efficient sealed units make an efficient replacement window, and an efficient window makes an efficient house. But just what makes our glass different?. 


For our interior panel, we don’t use a standard Low Emissivity glass. We use a new generation, magnetron coated Low E glass, which quite literally reflects heat back into the room. What’s more, our Low 'E' glass doesn’t have that browny yellow tinge associated with most old fashioned sealed units.

For our outer pane, we don’t use a standard clear glass, we use a specially formulated, ultra clear ‘Low Iron Glass’. You may not have noticed too much, but all glasses contain minerals and metals that reduce clarity and give a green tint. Using a special process to remove this iron, the tint is also removed, and we are left with what is described as a ‘white’ glass.  This white glass allows both more light, but especially more of the sun’s heat to pass through the unit and into your home.

By this unique combination – retaining the vast majority of heat within the room, and at the same time maximising the amount of free ‘Solar Gain’ - helping to reduce your energy bills throughout the year.
