Conservatories in Warrington are becoming increasingly popular. Have a look around your local neighbourhood and you can be guaranteed to find a number of homes who have recently had a conservatory installed. This could be because of space restrictions within the home or it could just be used as a way of bringing a whole new dimension to their property. If you are thinking of following suit, then there are a few considerations you need to take into account before installation.

Analyse space available

Whether you have a small or big garden, you need to assess what type of conservatories are available and then decide which would most suit the available space. The Lean-To conservatory is perfect for those homes with an awkward area, whereas the Edwardian conservatory will bring a great amount of floor space if you have room to play with.

Find a reputable installation company

Unfortunately there are some installers within the industry who lay claim to being better than they are. Speak to people who you know have had a conservatory installed and ask them if they would recommend them to carry out the work at your home. Scour the internet and local newspapers and try and find the most trusted and reputable installation company within your local area. Always gain quotes from more than one company so you can be sure you are not paying more than you need to.

Bounce ideas off a trained consultant

Once you have settled on the installation company, they should then send one of their qualified consultants round. Speak to them and let them know of any ideas you may have and they should in turn provide you with advice and the best solutions available for your home.

By following these simple steps you will be well on your way to the ideal conservatory for your home. Also have a look into double glazing in Warrington and new windows in Warrington as a further way of enhancing the appearance and amount of pleasure you get out of your property.

Clearview has prided itself on its great customer service and quality products for many, many years. We have been determined to prove ourselves as not being any ordinary conservatory, windows and doors installer, but as being the best installer of such products in the country. Well now we are literally living up to our name as we introduce our Perfection uPVC doors.

Due to the massive success of our energy rated windows and doors, this new range takes things that one step further.

We know how important it is to be energy efficient, helping reduce heating costs within the home and save the environment. We also know that new doors in Lancashire need to come in a range of different styles and designs so that they will suit all traditional and contemporary homes within the county.  But this we feel no longer goes far enough, hence the creation of our Perfection range of doors.

You may be wondering what the difference is then between our usual range of doors and the Perfection range.  The glass used in the door is handcrafted into a stunning range of different designs, so it allows light to shine through in different ways, creating a massive visual impact.

Unlike conventional decorative glass there is no lead around each of the glass shapes. The individual pieces of bevelled glass are applied directly onto the backing glass and encapsulated within the sealed unit.

It must be noted that these doors which come in rosewood, oak or white, still provide the amount of energy efficiency, security and style that you would expect from any good replacement door.

We also supply conservatories in Warrington and double glazing in Preston, which means we should be your first choice for any form of home improvement.  Why not visit our brand new showroom in Warrington and see first hand why Clearview is the number one in Cheshire and Lancashire.

Everything nowadays is so expensive. Buying a home, buying a car, going into town for a drink, shopping, the list goes on and on. That is why an increasingly amount of people are staying at home at a weekend rather than going out enjoying themselves. But staying in is the new going out and what better way to enjoy the luxuries of home than by inviting friends round for drinks in a brand new conservatory.

Staying at home need not be a boring occasion. Your living room may become particularly cramped when you have a big group of people around, so why not extend the space for guests by letting them catch up on the latest gossip in your conservatory.  Because conservatories in Warrington are comprised of uPVC and double glazing it means that you do not need to worry about the room being too cold during the winter. They are specially designed so that they adjust themselves to the outside temperature.

A conservatory does not just have to be reduced as a location for drinks.  You could install a TV in there along with furniture such as a sofa or dining table.  The opportunities really are endless and do not be surprised if you end up spending more time in your conservatory than the rest of your home.

If you live in an awkward shaped home or one that is lacking space out the back, do not panic as there are a number of different conservatories to choose from including Victorian, Edwardian and Lean-To varieties.  You are bound to find a design which will slot in easily and blend in with the rest of your home.

Double glazing in Preston has proved to be a great insulator of heat in conservatories, so why not also look into doors in Lancashire as another way of keeping your home warm and secure.

Claiming to be the North West’s most successful conservatory retailer, Conservatory Outlet dealer Clearview Home Improvements has added a third showroom as part of its strategy to boost sales this year by 25%.

Ideally located on a new Warrington retail park adjacent to other home improvement retailers and major retail brands from all sectors, the new Clearview showroom is the result of a £150,000 investment to create what is believed by Conservatory Outlet to be ‘the best retail conservatory showroom in the North of England and probably the UK’.

The showroom contains 8 fully featured conservatories in a range of styles, including a number of orangeries constructed using traditional brick and others using the latest modular components. A range of colours also illustrates the options open to customers, with bi-fold doors bound to provide an attraction to visitors. Every conservatory is fully furnished in a range of styles, designed throughout by a professional interior designer.

Clearview, which was formed just two years ago and a member of the Conservatory Outlet network from day one, has leapt to become the region’s leading retailer installing 60 conservatories a month with a sales value of £7.5 million last year through its existing branches in Preston, Lancashire and Holmes Chapel, Cheshire. The Warrington branch is confidently expected to boost the company’s sales by £2.5 million in its first year.

“Clearview Home Improvements fully embrace the ideals and professionalism that we aspire to at Conservatory Outlet,” commented Matthew Glover, the company’s managing director. “It is a superb operation that significantly builds upon the marketing support that we provide by creating its own television and other regional advertising; the rapid growth enjoyed by Clearview is the result of total professionalism.”

Clearview sales director Chris Mitchell believes that the marketing might of being a part of the Conservatory Outlet network has been a keystone in the success of the company: “Between us the directors of Clearview have more than 40 years in the business. But the superb marketing support, including television advertising and the industry’s best internet advertising & marketing team, has helped us become the region’s number one retailer in just two years.”

When you arrive home after a hard day in the office you want nothing more than to arrive into a nice, warm living room. During the winter months this is not always the case and many of us immediately reach for our pyjamas to heat us up as having the fire on for long periods can result in high heating bills.

People who suffer with cold homes often neglect the obvious and do not realise that it is their poorly insulated windows which are to blame. Many traditional homes may consist of wooden windows which although great insulators in the past, are no longer able to cope with adverse weather due to gaps appearing in frames, rotting or warping.

Get checking your windows for such faults and if you find this to be the case, then get double glazing from Clearview installed immediately. No matter how tiny the gap in your windows is, even the smallest of holes can let in a cold draught and bring a lot of misery to those occupying the home as you cannot enjoy sitting in the freezing cold.

Double glazing has so many benefits that you will wish you had considered having it installed years earlier. Because it is such good insulator of heat, it means that your living room, bedroom or kitchen will be kept warm at all times. If you purchase our ‘A’ rated windows, you can be guaranteed that you have purchased the best insulated windows possible.

Because heat is unable to leave the home through the windows, it means that you will not have to leave the heating on for so long within the home, therefore bringing your heating bills down.

Here at Clearview we also provide conservatories in Warrington as well as industry leading double glazing.  Why not fill in our online form and get a free ‘no obligation’ quote on whatever it is you require.

We all rate the household as being one of the important places in our lives, but imagine a home without windows. Its pretty unthinkable unless you fancy having constant noise, pollution and dirt invading your property. No did not think you would fancy that!

The window is too often taken for granted and when moving into a new home, buyers sometimes tend not to think about whether the windows installed are providing the necessary benefits. Windows can help reduce heating bills, cut out the majority of noise from traffic and neighbours and provide the upmost security at your property.

There are a variety of different windows available of which two types are analysed below. You need to decide which will best be practical for your needs.

The casement window is attached to a frame by one or more hinges, it is commonly hinged at the side. It was the most popular window bought until the Sash window was introduced, but it is still enormously popular. It enables you to open the whole window, something you need to beware of if you have children though. One of the great benefits is that you can clean the window from inside the home, saving you the trauma of having to do it in the wind or cold. They are an attractive window, weather tight and are composed of a multilocking mechanism.

Sash windows slide up and down, as well as having the capability to be tilted inwards and usually slide vertically. They are internally glazed so that the glass cannot be removed from the outside. They are made of one or more movable panels or “sashes” that form a frame to hold panes of glass which are often separated from other panes. A significant advantage of sash windows is that they provide efficient cooling of interiors during warm weather.

The New Year is already over a month old and those cold dark days are not yet near an end. However, that does not mean you cannot start thinking about the summer ahead and what better way to prepare for it than by purchasing a conservatory for your back garden.

There is nothing quite like having a barbecue on those long hot summer days with your nearest and dearest and what better way to celebrate than by inviting them in for drinks in the conservatory. It is the perfect location for such special occasions.

But do not be fooled into thinking that a conservatory is only of use during the summer months. Because of the way they are constructed and installed with double glazed windows, they will retain warmth during the winter months, but also will not be too hot during the summer, so you get the best of both worlds.

It can be so frustrating not being able to make use of the garden during the winter. This can be resolved as a conservatory is the perfect spot from which to admire your garden, you will feel like you can almost touch and smell it.

If you are worried that the shape and style of your house may not be able to be complimented by a conservatory, then fear not as there are many different types of conservatory on the market. A conservatory can also typically add around 5% onto the value of a property, something especially useful if you ever decide to sell.

The Victorian conservatory is very popular as it suits most house styles, an Edwardian conservatory offers great floor space, a Lean To conservatory is perfect for those with limited space or why not create a Bespoke conservatory to suit you families individual needs.

Conservatories are now as popular as they have ever been. If they are installed properly and you get the right style to suit your home they make a fantastic addition to your property. However if you do decide to add a conservatory to your home then it is important to do your research and find a company that can offer you a complete package from bespoke design to installation by professional qualified installers.

Check to see how many years the company has been operating for and how much experience they have in installing conservatories. You should feel confident that the team will be able to competently design and install your new conservatory. Below is some advice to look out for when choosing a company to install your new conservatory.

Experience is key, ask to see examples of other projects the company has worked on. They should be able to talk you through a variety of different builds they have successfully completed. Ask to see examples of different styles and sizes as you need to be confident that they can undertake your project.

Work out your budget and decide what you can afford and then make sure you stick to it. By telling the installer what your budget is they will be able to design a conservatory which is within your budget which will save you from disappointment in the future.

The designers should be able to talk you through a variety of different styles and come up with ideas which you may not have previously thought of. They should be able to talk you though any potential obstacles which may occur and they will be able to advise you on the styles which will suit you existing property.

A conservatory can be a fantastic addition to your home and if you follow the above advice and find an installer you are confident can complete the task successfully it will provide you with a room you can enjoy for many years to come.

In Europe conservatories have been popular since the early 18th century. The basic idea behind a conservatory is that is it a building constructed mainly of glass giving a light and airy feel with fantastic view of the garden and landscape beyond. Originally conservatories were used as a place to house exotic plants which would not survive outside in the harsh north European climate. However modern conservatories are used a variety of purposes and are seen as been additional living space.

In countries with warmer climates often they have verandas on their houses which are used as a place to relax and enjoy the surrounding landscape. However as verandas are open to the elements they would be of little for much of the year here in the UK. Unlike conservatories verandas often stretch around the entire house whereas conservatories are usually a room like structure which protrudes from the back of a property. Also verandas differ from conservatories as they have solid roofs which are designed to give shade and keep the house cool in the heat of the day. Conservatories on the other hand have glazed roofs which are designed to allow the maximum amount of natural light into the space below.

In the UK we are well known for our climate and wind, rain and snow are not uncommon. The beauty of a conservatory is that it allows you to enjoy your garden and the landscape beyond no matter what the weather is like outside.

Over the last twenty years we have seen a revolution in conservatory design. Originally conservatories were constructed of an iron frame and single glazed glass. This meant they were very expensive to heat and required a large amount of maintenance to prevent them from rotting. However thanks to the inventions of double glazing and uPVC modern conservatories are far better insulated making them far cheaper to heat and are very low maintenance.

Conservatories are not more popular than they have ever been. They make a fantastic addition to any home and make your home a great place to live. As they add extra living space to a property they have even been found to add value to a property.
