Claiming to be the North West’s most successful conservatory retailer, Conservatory Outlet dealer Clearview Home Improvements has added a third showroom as part of its strategy to boost sales this year by 25%.

Ideally located on a new Warrington retail park adjacent to other home improvement retailers and major retail brands from all sectors, the new Clearview showroom is the result of a £150,000 investment to create what is believed by Conservatory Outlet to be ‘the best retail conservatory showroom in the North of England and probably the UK’.

The showroom contains 8 fully featured conservatories in a range of styles, including a number of orangeries constructed using traditional brick and others using the latest modular components. A range of colours also illustrates the options open to customers, with bi-fold doors bound to provide an attraction to visitors. Every conservatory is fully furnished in a range of styles, designed throughout by a professional interior designer.

Clearview, which was formed just two years ago and a member of the Conservatory Outlet network from day one, has leapt to become the region’s leading retailer installing 60 conservatories a month with a sales value of £7.5 million last year through its existing branches in Preston, Lancashire and Holmes Chapel, Cheshire. The Warrington branch is confidently expected to boost the company’s sales by £2.5 million in its first year.

“Clearview Home Improvements fully embrace the ideals and professionalism that we aspire to at Conservatory Outlet,” commented Matthew Glover, the company’s managing director. “It is a superb operation that significantly builds upon the marketing support that we provide by creating its own television and other regional advertising; the rapid growth enjoyed by Clearview is the result of total professionalism.”

Clearview sales director Chris Mitchell believes that the marketing might of being a part of the Conservatory Outlet network has been a keystone in the success of the company: “Between us the directors of Clearview have more than 40 years in the business. But the superb marketing support, including television advertising and the industry’s best internet advertising & marketing team, has helped us become the region’s number one retailer in just two years.”

A trusted quote with Conservatory Outlet

Dear Readers,

I am writing to advise you to be careful when using conservatory and double glazing websites.

When looking at different conservatory and double glazing websites, it can be a difficult task to decide who to trust.

Here’s the word of warning.

There are a number of websites saying that they will put you in touch with reputable local home improvement companies. Often they suggest that you can get a quote online for the work, but in reality these websites are trying to get your information, such as your phone number. They then sell your details to three or four different companies.

The problem is that you are then likely to be pestered by these unvetted companies, most likely including high pressure sales staff. With the high pressured situation, you’re unlikely to have been able to research the companies yourself before they phone you to make an appointment. We have heard lots of stories from customers who have encountered such a problem, before finding our website.

We feel that if you’re looking for a quote for double glazing, PVC doors, PVC windows, a conservatory or other home improvement, you would do better to spend a little more time researching a few local companies in your area, rather than using lead generation websites to do it for you. The local home improvement companies are also likely to have showrooms near by where you can see for yourself the quality of the products, instead of relying on the salesman and his pictures. If you spend just a little time to do your own research you are more likely to find the best company to do the work, and overall receive a better service.

Matthew.

Stockport conservatory with french doors, Lancashire

I just wanted to say thank you for all of your help with our new conservatory. Everyone was so nice and helpful.

We had a contemporary conservatory installed with a light oak finish and it looks brilliant. The uPVC french doors really add to it as well. We were very impressed on how relatively simple the installation process was. We have been told that quite often this is the case with other companies.

My wife and I could not be happier. It is the perfect place to kick back after a long day, even better on the weekend where we enjoy watching the squirrels. The Conservatory Outlet really does offer great customer service, they were just very polite and grateful to help, even with my wife nagging on the odd occasion!

We will definately come back if we need anything else and suggest you to anyone else looking at conservatories. Stockport conservatories finest!

We are ever so grateful for the beautiful job you have done on our new conservatory. We are delighted with the final result…its made our house into a home.

We have to say thank you to:

Danny and crew, who worked solid for 11 hours dismantling and erecting our new conservatory.

Mark the electrician and Kev and his colleague (the plasterers) also Paul the engineer whose professional and caring attitude has completed this project for us.

And what a suprise to have somebody come to clean the new conservatory inside and out for us!

Fabulous job all round, we DEFINATELY recommend Conservatory Outlet at Leyland without hesitation.

We especially have to mention Gary Oakes, a gentleman salesman and Andy in charge of the whole fitting team, without which none of this would have been possible.  All in all, a clean, tidy, professional job done by everyone.

Thanks so much.

S Grice and Mum – (L Grice)

PS…Extra thank you for the gorgeous bottle of Vino Tinto, which was enjoyed VERY MUCH!!

Leading double glazing and conservatory installer Conservatory Outlet are pleased to announce the launch of their double glazing and conservatory latest news section on their website. The Latest News is intended to be used by both customers and staff at the Conservatory Outlet, where for example, changes in planning applications for conservatories can be highlighted and discussed.

A Spokesperson from Conservatory Outlet commented on our latest news section:
“We intended to start our Latest News in order to relay information regarding the double glazing & conservatory industry to the general public.  Our Latest News also gives us the opportunity to post the testimonials from our many happy customers.”

On October the 1st 2008, the government introduced new planning rules for conservatories and other home extensions, which are detailed in our conservatory article section. These new rules mean that extensions of up to two storeys can be built without planning permission as long as they extend no more than ten feet or three meters from the back of the main property.

These new rules also affect loft conversions, which now no longer need planning permission should the finished project not exceed 50 square meters or don’t exceed more than eight inches from the eaves.

The Conservatory Outlet have also provided other information for their potential customers such as how to make the most of a new conservatory and the wide range of optional extras they can provide. For example, a choice of both manual and automatic roof vents is available as well as either glass or polycarbonate roofing materials.

In the near future the double glazing and conservatory blog will also highlight some of the new innovations in double glazed window designs, such as the self cleaning Pilkington Activ glass, which is sure to be a popular choice. Not to mention the security features such as steel reinforced window and door frames, triple hinges with hinge protectors as standard to stop forced entry using a crow bar and the tried and tested multi point locks.

Our latest news is intended to be a ‘one stop shop’ for everything concerned with the double glazing and conservatory industry. Readers are invited to post their own comments, questions and suggestions on the blog, making it an ideal place to keep abreast of changes and developments within the industry.   But don’t take our word for it, take a look at The Conservatory Outlet’s new Double Glazing and Conservatory news section for yourself and keep up to date with all things double glazing.
