Glass or Polycarbonate Roof

Our Solar controlled glass roofs allow you to use your orangery all year round by keeping heat out from the sun during Summer whilst retaining warmth from heating appliances during Winter. Our solar controlled roofs also dramatically reduces ultra-violet rays passing through the roof, which can cause furniture to fade. Available in Neutral Clear or Subtle Blue.

Traditionally used for many years in conservatory roofs, polycarbonate units are ever popular because of their light weight, heat insulation properties and value for money. We offer a range of polycarbonate options which are the UK’s leading choice with conservatory and orangery buyers. Designed to coordinate with every colour of frame available, you can opt for clear, opaque or tinted units to give protection from the glare of strong sunlight, minimisation of heat build up in summer where the location is south facing and yet good light quality to the inside of your new room.

Ventilation

At The Conservatory outlet we can provide roof ventilation as part of our climate control options should you require them. The Conservatory Outlet offer both manual and electronically operated roof vents. In addition to allowing heat to escape, our roof ventilation systems are ideal for orangeries intended for kitchen use as they offer an escape for unwanted cooking odours allowing fresh air to circulate the room.

Lighting

Orangeries are naturally light and airy spaces due to the very nature of their construction. Large glazed windows and the open roof allows daylight to pour in. To enable you to make the most of your orangery in the evening, here at The Conservatory Outlet we install spot lights in the internal pelmet that echo the contemporary feel and provide subtle lighting if needed. On an evening orangeries also come alive with the light and atmospheric mood provided by the stars and moon above. Sit back, relax and unwind at your leisure.

Heating

Here at The Conservatory outlet we are careful to design and install orangeries that are as energy efficient as possible. By advising on the correct methods of both heating and ventilation we ensure that you can enjoy your orangery all year round. The Conservatory Outlet offer a range of flooring options and can install underfloor heating to avoid any plumbing issues or the need for radiators.
